Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has developed to be part of the Customer Program Engineering team supporting the European & Middle Eastern region. You will be part of our wider Field Service Team, providing dedicated in region support for our civil customers. As well as key account management, you will provide field training and repairs to our Europe & Middle East customer base. A contributor to our key performance metrics for the team, you must be confident in changing customer demands, setting priorities, engaging customers, performing on site repairs and ensuring the customer voice is heard in an impactful way to the business. You will be able to work local Dowty representatives to advocate for your customers and to drive cooperation throughout.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide field repairs & technical support for in region customers
  • Provide in region customer training
  • Support our airframe partners regional conferences
  • Utilize best practices to challenge existing processes and drive improvement
  • Facilitate new contractual negotiations and roll out
  • Deliver quarterly updates for in region customers

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College, or High School Diploma with compensating work experience in similar role
  • Relevant experience in a regulated aerospace environment performing aircraft maintenance & customer training
  • Proven Customer facing and/or Commercial Experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage performance using KPIs, meet deadlines, set priorities work and implement recovery action when required
  • A self-starter able to manage your own work
  • Ability to apply clear thinking to solve problems and work cross-functionally
  • Confident in presenting and delivering technical data through training
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Work Visa in accordance with local regulations is required

  • Degree in Aerospace is preferred
  • Passionate about continuous improvements and be confident in challenging processes
  • A knowledge and understanding of the aerospace industry
  • A customer advocate who can successfully communicate key needs for their customer
  • Propulsion background
