Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Precision Measurement: Utilize advanced measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, special purpose gauges, and scales to generate and verify part dimensions throughout the machining process.
  • Quality Assurance: Achieve and maintain all required tolerances and finishes, producing top-quality parts efficiently and in compliance with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality standards.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain continuous visual concentration to develop and uphold precise tolerances, ensuring all characteristics generated at designated operations conform through applicable inspection techniques.
  • Equipment Setup and Operation: Perform setup and operation of equipment according to drawings, method sheets, and occasionally supplement this information with your own job knowledge.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • Training and Mentorship: Temporarily train operators on equipment usage, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain an orderly work area, exercising care in the use of facilities and materials, and uphold good housekeeping practices.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety requirements, and actively participate in a team-based environment, including daily team meetings and activities.
  • Tool Utilization: Use all necessary tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to perform operations effectively.
  • Safety Procedures: Follow safety procedures and utilize proper PPE and safety equipment at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical secondary schools or above degree, majored in machinery/electric. Proven experience in manufacturing industry. Acquired knowledge of mechanical or electrical professional.
  • Ability to understand the engineering drawings and documents.
  • Acquired knowledge of cutting tools and quality. Ability to use standard measuring tools.
  • Strong communication skills with NC programmers, Process engineers, Tooling engineer. Be familiar with CNC Machining Center/Heavy Machine first.
  • Proven experience as tool administrator in mechanical machining
  • Be familiar with tool type, assembly and metal cutting

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Zoller tool-measuring device. Acquired knowledge of cutting tool usage, administration, and maintenance
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Tool Data Management system.
  • Acquired qualification for operating crane and forklift.
