We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Systems Verification Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Verification Lead you will be responsible for the verification and validation of avionics systems to ensure they meet all specified requirements and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of verification engineering principles, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute verification and validation plans for avionics systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Design and implement test cases and procedures to verify system functionality, performance, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct system-level testing, including integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test reports, and verification matrices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754).
  • Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage activities timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful activity completion.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in electronic systems integration, testing or hardware/software testing.
  • Knowledge in verification and validation tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with system integration and testing.
  • Experience with test frameworks and automated testing tools.
  • Hands-on lab experience with electronic systems and test equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754).
  • Knowledge of software development processes and programming languages (e.g., C, C++).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash).
  • Understanding of safety-critical systems and reliability engineering.
  • Experience with aviation data transfer/communication standards: ARINC 664, Ethernet
  • Knowledge of avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
  • Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
