Job Description Summary
The Quality Leader - Assembly and Test Operations will provide strategic and technical leadership to drive Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality across the Assembly and Test network. The person in this role will lead the quality organization across Assembly and Test operations and partner with Assembly and Test leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic
- Owner of Zero-Defect Culture and Proactive Quality for Assembly and Test operations
- Collaborate with Business Leadership on Breakthrough Objectives and Top-Level Improvement Priorities
- Champion FLIGHT DECK deployment in Assembly and Test Quality operations, coaching the quality leadership teams and partnering with leadership.
- Partner with customer quality teams and directly with customers on quality improvement to enhance the customer experience.
- Drive advanced quality tool maturation in assembly and test operations.
- Partner with SAFRAN quality leadership in CFM quality initiatives.

Organizational
- Lead a decentralized global team of quality professionals.
- Work closely with horizontal team in programs, supply chain, customer teams, and extended quality organization.
- Coach/mentor team on an ongoing basis.
Operational
- Assure performance to Key Performance Indicators in delivered and in process quality.
- Maintain strong regulatory compliance across network.
- Drive and maintain regulatory and operator approvals in partnership with engine programs and overall network strategy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related experience
- Experienced leading matrixed teams and projects
- Experienced in kaizen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an outstanding ability to interact and engage at all levels of the organization- from the shop floor to senior leadership.
- Understanding of GE Aerospace quality policies and procedures
- Proven leader in problem solving.
- Strong program and project management skills
- Ability to travel - 20%.
