Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated AI Intern to join our aerospace team and contribute to cutting-edge projects involving artificial intelligence. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply AI techniques to real-world aerospace challenges, including predictive maintenance, autonomous systems, optimization of flight operations, and data-driven decision-making.

The intern will also receive:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply AI models for aerospace engineering use-cases.
- Process and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to integrate AI solutions into aerospace systems.
- Assist in training and tuning models for tasks like image recognition, large language processing, and 3D design.
- Demonstrate applied results and document methodologies for presentations and technical reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be willing to work from the GE Aerospace office in Evendale, OH.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in building AI models locally and using Cloud technologies.
- Experience with data analysis, deep learning, or computer vision techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with aerospace systems, 3D design is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Benefits:
Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
