Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Application Deployment and Maintenance: Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of applications in various environments.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor application performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve computer and software incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely on development, QA, and infrastructure to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline application operations and improve efficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of application configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance application operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a High School Diploma with 5 plus years' experience in Information Technology related fields.

NOTE: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of databases and proficiency in sql
  • Understanding of containerization and virtualization
  • Proficiency in programming (java, javascript, or other)
  • Comfortable navigating linux and windows
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
