As an Airfoil Casting Tooling Project Manager, you will support the achievement of business outcomes related to tooling through strong operating rhythms, deployment of lean tools and continuous improvement of processes. This role will directly influence the team's ability to achieve quality and on-time delivery as it relates to tooling. Requires high "say do ratio" as well as the ability to process and analyze data and stakeholder feedback to support business decisions.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage airfoil casting tooling through entire life cycle from quote to retirement to support delivery schedules
  • Project manage tooling to ensure tooling is built and qualified to support our delivery schedules
  • Interface and lead engagements with other adjacent functions (Quality, Engineering, Commercial Ops, Compliance, Finance, etc.) to provide ensure tooling qualification per defined milestones
  • Review ongoing performance to milestones, evaluate misses and work to identify and deploy corrective measures with accountable leaders and/or escalate issues as necessary
  • Develop supplier relationships to drive effective partnerships.
  • Support daily management processes & standard work for airfoil castings vendors
  • Ownership of tooling KPIs (including budget), standard work and operating rhythms
  • Communicate complex messages to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Drive continuous improvement projects focused on the tooling value stream
  • Develop and propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems
  • Role will require up to 20% travel.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or institution (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a manufacturing or a supply chain related function)
  • A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing or a supply chain related function

The base pay range for this position is $94,400 - $110,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on January 24, 2025.
