At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business Unit, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

As Program Manager for the AE2100 activities you will be executing program and operating in the context of service (MRO, spares and support) projects.
In this role you will be responsible to fulfill customer orders and needs according to the contracts requirements.
You will be the focal point for the external and internal customer for any problem that may arise and work together with all the stakeholders in order to find the best solution.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the execution of AE2100 program, maximizing benefits and opportunities in the contract
  • Lead internal teams (Engineering and Manufacturing) involved into service and engineering support for customer
  • Update and monitor budget, business plan, economics (REV, GM, ...), financials (collection, ...), program KPI (OTD, VoC, ...)
  • Actively identify and manage risks and support in keeping risk register update
  • Manage activities to address customer concerns to maximize Customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for the flow-down of Customer Demand to GSC managing customer orders as per contract in place
  • Be the prime customer contact for the execution of the contract/project
  • Communicate and interact with the customers on an on-going basis; report and share program progress during periodic program reviews; customer interface with the internal stakeholders
  • Conduct regular reviews to drive and maintain engine, module and accessories cost at or below targets by comparison with catalogue or available business plan
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team during all the phases of an offer, starting from the Customer's needs through the negotiations and until the hand-over at the Kick-Off meeting
  • Responsible for the management of business plan.
  • Follow GE compliance Policies ('The Spirit and The Letter') and promote open reporting

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Engineering bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited university or college (Aerospace or Management Engineering preferred)
  • Solid experience in managing projects, demonstrating strong project management skills
  • Previous experience in an aeronautical company
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus and ability to cooperate with the different departments
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • High Customer Oriented skills
  • Italian and English written and oral good knowledge
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Desired Characteristics

  • Relevant Experience in Service Business, in Military Programs or equivalent role
  • Deep knowledge of military programs and contracts
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Abilities to create a consolidated and valuable collaboration network
