Job Description Summary
Product Lifecycle Management Engineer is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of a product from its initial concept through design, manufacturing, service, and disposal. The goal of PLM is to integrate people, processes, business systems, and information to manage a product's lifecycle efficiently and effectively.
Key functions of a PLM organization include:
Product Development: Overseeing the design and development of new products.
Data Management: Managing product data and documentation throughout the product's lifecycle.
Process Management: Streamlining and optimizing processes related to product development and manufacturing.
Collaboration: Facilitating collaboration among different departments, such as engineering, manufacturing, and marketing.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaboration with PCB on product line objectives and near-term imperatives
- Manage change introduction based on priorities
- Ensure change execution supports timely execution and program milestone achievement
- Introduction of changes consistent with technology maturity and customer requirements
- Allow changes only when risk is managed and consistent with customer requirements
- Set product structure to facilitate enterprise simplicity for multiple models and account for future offerings
- Industrialization of Digital Thread
- Lead Digital Thread (one source model driving manufacturing models / and instructions)
- Integrate parts lists (should be one through lifecycle)
- Enable the creation of one version of the truth... link product definition and field documentation
- Develop new processes to be able to track configuration through production and in the field
- By serial number...manufacturing information, as built configuration, SBs, manuals, repairs, service records, etc.
- Critical to segregate fleet during field problem resolution
- Critical for analytics and pro-active actions based on pre-alerts
- Integration with Supply Chain
- Ensure intro points meet engineering, program and supply chain needs...balance risk of early incorporation vs. certification and ability to deliver name-plated engines
Required Qualifications
- This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Configuration Management.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
