In this role, you will partner with our brands & corporate functions across the globe, to continuously drive value across Non-Merchandise categories. You will establish, analyze, and refine the business's procurement strategy ensuring alignment with business goals. Make certain we Do The Right Thing as an organization by optimizing our purchasing power, building and maintaining strategic vendor relationships, and contract management.
What You'll Do
- Create and execute category strategies for IT Network & Tele
- Provide input to category strategy based on market dynamics, supplier landscape, business needs within focus area
- Manage supplier relationships and lead contract negotiations (Master Agreement, SOW, Order Documents).
- Support cross-functional teams (GTS, Finance, InfoSec, Legal, Risk Management) in sourcing projects, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Support senior procurement staff in various strategic initiatives
- Be accountable for delivering savings (PL, Non-PL, Capital) for responsible category
- Be familiar with Procurement Technology (i.e. Spend Analytics, Sourcing, eAuction)
- Actively promote a competitive bid culture for Technology projects by applying advanced levers
Who you are
- 5 - 6 years of experience in Procurement or related, preferred experience in category management
- Extensive Experience negotiating, redlining, and routing contracts for approval through a complex organization
- Proven ability to lead the contracting process facilitating meetings with business partners, Legal, Finance, suppliers, InfoSec and Risk
- Knowledge of key legal and commercial contract terms and risks / opportunities associated with each
- Highly organized with strong project management skills.
- Ability to multi task and prioritize work as required to meet deadlines.
- Flexible problem solving mindset with an aptitude for working through ambiguous situations
- Tech savvy with a desire to quickly learn and master new systems and ways of working
- Bachelor's degree; Masters degree preferred
