Food & dining; things to do reporter

Waltham, MA

The Cape Cod Times/capecodtimes.com, part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, is seeking an Entertainment/Dining/Things to Do Reporter to cover the vibrant Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket cultural and dining scene. Our readership is both on the Cape and Islands and beyond.

The ideal candidate will bring a distinctive voice to the beat, displaying a talent for writing equal to their excitement for dining and arts. Coverage will highlight the region's rich culinary diversity from signature festivals such as Carnival in Provincetown, a gallery show with vintage motorcycles to places to dine when guests are in town and all points in-between.

Cape Cod is home to more than 220,000 people in a beautiful seaside environment that offers access to many outdoor activities - on land and water. The Cape, located about an hour south of Boston, has a vibrant creative economy from music to theater and craftspeople to writers. And the Cape is home to some of the most highly regarded scientific research institutions in the world.
