The Financial Analyst in Financial Shared Services plays a crucial role by providing relevant, accurate, and timely analysis to support the Shared Services B2B leadership. Their responsibilities include troubleshooting, analyzing, and researching financial data to identify process gaps and recommend improvements. Additionally, they interpret complex data to develop actionable steps for process optimization. The Financial Analyst ensures compliance with internal controls and other requirements. They also deliver accurate and timely analytical reports, communicate results to leadership, and provide excellent customer service to both Finance leadership and other Departments.

Base Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks
⦁ Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls.
⦁ Works with other team members and the leadership team on various projects as assigned.
⦁ Performs data analysis including inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data to discover useful information, inform conclusions, and support decision-making. As well as identifying trends and patterns. Identify gaps in processes and recommend actionable improvements.
⦁ Oversee project execution and ensure successful post-execution analysis and reporting.
⦁ Communicate findings effectively through both verbal and written communication.
⦁ Ensure attention to detail and accuracy in all financial analyses.

Required Competencies
⦁ Proven experience in data analysis or a related field.
⦁ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
⦁ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
⦁ Passion for results.
⦁ Proficient in data analysis tools and software.
⦁ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
⦁ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
⦁ Business degree (BS or MBA) with financial analysis experience or comparable work experience.
⦁ Demonstrated customer service.
⦁ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
⦁ Strong Excel skills.
⦁ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
⦁ Experience in a consolidated financial environment.
⦁ Big picture perspective and ability to manage vision but also the ability to perform the detailed assignments as needed.
⦁ Experienced in query building knowledge; example: SQL, Crystal.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $50,000 and $55,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications, and experience.
