The Event Account Specialist responsibilities include assisting account managers, sales leaders, and marketing in developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients. Event Account Specialists liaise between cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions.

Performing a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will focus on restaurant recruitment for our Wine & Food series. You will be responsible for the following:
    • Recruit a variety of restaurant per event market (number to be determined)
    • Communicate by email, text, and or phone to collect all required assets from said restaurants
    • Deliver timelines, rules, and procedures to all participating restaurants
    • Create a point of contact for each market that will assist the restaurant on-site
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external associates.
    • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
    • Responsible for working with the Account Management team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships.
    • Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer deliverables.
    • Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client's needs.
    • Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
    • Successful execution of all tracking elements in the lifecycle of the client
  • Build contracts and reporting data as needed.
  • Assist in updating sales material as needed.
  • Monthly sponsor screenshots to prove fulfillment of contracts
  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Attend weekly event meeting for each event at least twice per month as needed.
  • Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs.

Requirements:

    • Build and maintain relationships with local market advertising and marketing teams (both management and advertising representatives).

    • Exercise personal intellectual discretion and judgement while working with markets across the country with very little oversight.
    • Necessary to be a self-initiator with the ability to manage time and schedules both at home and on the road.
    • Purchase event materials as needed.
    • Ability to lead event setup and execution in markets across the country, along with the ability to manage and oversee local market employee assignments during event setup and execution.
    • Ability to exercise the authority to make sound executive decisions quickly during event execution (with or without prior approval).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box are essential.
    • Travel is required and will vary depending on event.
  • Knowledge of Ventures events is a plus.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $43,000and $81,000. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
