The Email Specialist will be a power user of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, managing the scheduling, segmentation, testing, list management, optimization, and performance monitoring of our B2C email executions. Ensuring timely and accurate execution is pivotal to this role. The email channel has high visibility and is critical to the growth team's success. This role is project management driven, working in close partnership with the Project Managers and the Email Developers. The position requires an ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders at warp speed with a keen eye and attention to detail. The team works in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and the Email Specialist must be able to successfully play his/her role to ensure all email campaigns are executed accurately, within requested parameters, and on time, every time.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Own the final step in email campaign fulfillment by managing all B2C email campaign execution on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform including campaign setup, list import and assignment, scheduling, deployment, troubleshooting and ultimately sending confirmation and reporting.
- Work with the Technical Solution team and Martech to establish list management workflow and processes in conjunction with the CRM platform. Manage list imports and data filter assignments for all campaigns.
- Create send definitions, data extensions, send interactions and filters as well as coordinate with Channel Managers and design resources to procure creative assets in preparation for campaign deployments.
- Collaborate with the Email Developers and internal stakeholders to ensure emails deploy as scheduled according to the Marketing partner's requests.
- Proactively communicate with project managers and channel managers, and email challenges arise, so schedules cannot be met after reprioritization of workload.
- Be proactive and solution-oriented. When changes occur or obstacles are encountered, provide quick and efficient solutions using North Star priorities as your guide.
- Manage email fulfillment tasks and deliverable milestones in the collaborative Project Management tool, Asana.
- Update and monitor network-wide email deployment calendar surfacing concerns when audience saturation limits occur. Work with the email team to follow best practices to maintain IP reputation, and consistently improve deliverability, and open and click rates.
- Implement A/B and multi-variate test deployments as requested ensuring accuracy and according to deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with the Email Developers, Q/A team, and Channel Managers to adhere to quality assurance processes and standards. Act as the last line of defense regarding accurate and on-time deployments.
- Update all jobs with send confirmations and run post-deployment reports once campaign statistics are final. Deliver email metrics and KPIs to partner teams as requested.
- Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary within the realm of the role.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant email marketing experience are required in a professional, fast-paced environment. Additionally, 1-2 years of direct experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Proven experience in scheduling, testing, and deploying emails in single send and automated environments is essential. This role is a blend of strong project management skills, email campaign execution know-how, and client services role. It requires strong organizational and communication skills.
The Email Specialist must have a strong attention to detail without compromising speed in execution and a desire to seize opportunities and take initiative without needing to be told. Excellent project management skills and a strong work ethic are essential to success.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a positive attitude. He/she will be a highly motivated, team player that can also work independently and is able to communicate effectively with multiple audiences. He/she will have the ability to identify and address process and operational gaps quickly.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $55,000 and $60,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
