Account Executive - Digital Marketing
- Market: This is a full-time B2B Outside Sales position based in Rochester, NY region
- Compensation: $48k base salary + Uncapped Commission, benefits, expenses, unlimited vacation, and more. TCC $65K -$80K
Position Details: We are currently looking for an Outside Account Executive for our Rochester, NY team. In this role, you will need to prospect qualified businesses, consult to identify growth opportunities, and deliver a compelling marketing strategy with an extensive, first-class digital portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth through new accounts and upselling existing accounts. This is a customer facing, outside sales-based role that acquires, manages, and retains clients with a focus on selling long term solutions to help businesses grow.

What You Bring to the Table:
- Sales Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales or a related field.
- Fearless & Driven: Willingness to get in front of business owners to pitch products
- Networking & Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships with clients.
- Outstanding Communication/Presentation Skills: Strong influencing and presentation abilities.
- Integrity & Initiative: A self-starter with a high level of personal integrity and drive.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of experience in high acquisition, consultative B2B Sales role and college degree or acceptable equivalent of education and work experience
- Ability to work on multiple campaigns simultaneously, under deadline, while being flexible to the clients' needs
- Ability to create and sell custom digital advertising strategies
- Ability to collaborate actively and constructively in a team environment
- Ability to pivot quickly without losing speed, focus, or quality
- A problem solver who thrives on challenges and can simplify complex issues
- Excellent track record of developing and selling custom multi-tactic digital advertising campaigns and closing business including mobile platforms, SEO/SEM, Targeted Email, Social, and other offerings. (Google AdWords, Analytics certifications are preferred but not required)
- A true hunter mentality combined with strong prospecting, planning, organizational, and time-management skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills, having a persuasive and patient, yet compelling and compassionate approach. You'll be forging strong relationships with customers and must be able to earn their trust
- Experience with Adpoint or another CRM tool (Daily use required)
- Valid driver's license
- Vehicle insurance is required (at least minimum insurance required for the state in which the employee works)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $26,100 and $48,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications, and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
