The Trade Marketing Manager is a unique opportunity within the marketing team, to take ownership and develop retailer and trade relationships in USA across Pop Vinyl, Bitty Pop, Loungefly and Softlines. This role will help the Marketing team contribute to the implementation of brand, channel, and customer strategy. The role works across the organization with a variety of stakeholders (but hand in hand with dedicated Sales Managers based in region) to help achieve desired business results.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the strategy and implementation of retail and trade marketing activity in USA. This includes the planning and execution of in-store visibility POS, online merchandising, licensor and trade marketing initiatives to strengthen Funko relationships with market-leading customers and reinforce our unique brand proposition.
- Lead marketing activities for business priority brands such as Bitty Pop!, Loungefly, and product launches, to drive brand awareness, share of voice and ultimately sales in the region.
- Work closely with the Sales team / Account Managers to deliver against strategic growth categories, new product launches and drive sales with key retail partners through the creation and implementation of a strategic 12-month plan and calendar.
- Explore new retail partnerships to deliver growth in the USA market and actively seek marketing opportunities which includes but not exhaustive "shop In shops, FSDU's, CDU, POS”.
- Ownership of allocated marketing budget for your region, making commercial decisions based on clear insight, forecasts, evaluation and analysis of prior campaigns.
- Collaborate with Licensors:
o Including, but not limited to supporting new product launches, supporting special events, creating collaborative initiatives instore
o Leading and coordinating joint plans for key theatrical and AAA content releases
o Marketing activations made with commercial decisions
- Coordinate and work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to obtain the required assets to execute marketing plans specific to local requirements.
- Work alongside the Digital and PR team to ensure campaigns are relevant, timely and drive sales to support key product categories and drive sales to your retail partners.
- Brief in and lead creatives to the design team for trade initiatives and ensure licensor approvals are recorded and met in a timely fashion.
- Attend and support key trade shows in the US.
- Promote the branding guidelines that are adhered to across Funko, internally and externally.
- Participate in cross-department brainstorms and creative sessions.

Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $73,000 – 92,000.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives.
