The Mondo Social Media Manager engages our fans, enthusiasts, influencers, and advocates via our social media channels to grow our audience with authentic interactions. With the Marketing team and under the direction of the Sr. Marketing Manager, this role directly manages all elements of social media as one of our key marketing channels.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Support the strategy and planning of integrated marketing campaigns, while directly managing all elements of social media as one of our key marketing channels for activation. This includes posting, monitoring, and responding to customers across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Discord, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit and more.
  • Identify and connect with fans, super users, influencers, and advocate to increase reach and engagement, and support Mondo.  
  • Grow, engage with, and advocate for the Mondo audience by managing communities on branded social media channels.  
  • Monitor conversations across social media, discover trending topics relevant to the product and brand and address important mentions and questions through one on one communications. 
  • Learn social listening tools and work with third party resources to generate insights, pull data, and provide recommendations to optimize community management through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to inform product decisions and community health. 
  • Create positive, brand-appropriate, and engaging replies to users on all social platforms, partnering with other social team members to inform and mitigate escalation. 
  • Manage fan-focused social series with a strong advocation for diversity and inclusivity 
  • Provide feedback and key learnings to cross-divisional teams to ensure user feedback is being heard. 
  • Manage curation of user-generated content (UGC) for use across various marketing programs and owned channels 
  • Be receptive to new social platforms, adaptive to changes across platforms, etc. 
  • Manage all social media influencer or ambassador relationships. Identify potential influencers across Collectibles, Music and Posters. Evaluate relative  effectiveness of various influencer partners.  
  • Help produce all video snapshots, including You Tube Toy Talks, and creating edited versions for short form video content.   
  • Actively work to secure samples of existing and upcoming products for product reveals and video content creation.  
  • Provide data on performance of various social media marketing campaigns to inform future strategies

What You’ll Bring
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Video editing skills, ability to create short form video content
  • 3 or more years’ experience in professional community and/or social media
  • proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Strong networking and communication skills; keeping in line with the voice and personality of Mondo
  • Ability to identify potential risks and strategize around potential roadblocks; ability to mediate when required or escalate when necessary
  • Creativity and a collaborative spirit

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $73,000 - 90,000 annually. ​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.  Please note this role requires 4 days onsite in our Burbank, CA office.
