Role Purpose
Reporting to the Direct Ship Assistant Manager / Direct Ship Manager. This role is responsible for order management, shipment planning, and day-to-day communication with US, EMEA, Asia & Oceania partners and factories.
What You’ll Do:
- Preparation of various order documents, e.g., Factory PO and Sales Order management, vendor registration documents.
- Set and communicate clear priorities and goals and translate them into actionable and pragmatic deliverables.
- Serve as customer account service, independently providing quality service to Direct Import customers.
- Responsible for addressing customer inquiries and handling customer complaints.
- Collaborate closely & independently with the sales team in HQ and factories to solve shipment issues.
- Pull in shipments to maximize monthly shipping volume and quarterly revenue.
- Closely monitor factories to ensure the booking is timely and shipping documents are submitted according to specific time frames.
- Liaise with forwarders to get vessel space and prioritize our shipments, escalate, and discuss with the sales team in HQ if necessary.
- Cross-check and ensure that all shipping documents are aligned with the actual shipment, as requested by customers, and updated in the ERP system.
- Support Ad Hoc projects assigned by the Direct Ship Manager/Assistant Manager.
- Travel is required within this role to China or offshore countries in need.
- Be flexible about participating in the conference call with our regional offices in the US and UK outside of office hours.
- Willing to share and balance the workload across the teams.
- Good time management to complete all assignments in a timely manner.
- Accomplish the corporate initiative in conjunction with cross-functional teams across regional offices.

What You’ll Bring:
- Diploma or above in supply chain, logistics, business, or other disciplines related to the international trading field.
- Minimum 4-5 years relevant experience in customer services, supply chain, merchandising, and logistics and able to handle full set import/export shipping documents from China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia to global countries in the toys and bags industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain in relation to shipment planning and order management.
- Sensitive in numbers, good analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Good accuracy in data processing in various systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
- A good team player with a positive and open mindset.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
