The Innovations Operations Fulfillment Manager role oversees the operations fulfillment team’s goal to successfully execute fulfillment operations for Innovative product lines serviced by 3PL Fulfillment Centers (FC). This position will be a subject matter expert in DTC fulfillment operations. This position will have active interactions with Sales, IT, and 3PL Operations teams to successfully deploy new business initiatives.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Manage daily 3PL performance of inbounding inventory to customer orders.
  • Review incoming order demand and engage with teams inside and outside of the 3PL to remove blockers to excellent customer service.
  • Lead weekly performance review meetings with stakeholders and Fulfilment Center.   
  • Track and measure FC performance through evolving KPIs.  
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and recognize and elevate issues and constraints.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and lead the daily fulfillment expectations.
  • Develop and implement tools to strategically evolve planning and execution of FC goals.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the fulfillment and distribution goals, including: scheduling, resource planning, and audit of business processes 
  • Review customer feedback with CS teams and implement QC measures at Fulfillment Center to improve customer experience. 
  • Oversee 3PL labor planning and ensure labor cost and levels are aligned to sales forecast and 3PL budgets. 
  • Act as liaison between Sales and the Fulfillment Center to provide status, manage priorities and communicate issues to ensure timely flow of order pick, pack and ship.  
  • Partner with demand planning teams to establish inventory positions and manage storage/capacity constraints.
  • Review and audit 3PL Invoices for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Provide ongoing education on processes and best practices. 
  • Manage the on-going performance of 3PL while leading change through and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives that support the company's goals
  • Provide regular reporting updates to the Sr. Director and SVP of Operations, on projects/initiatives and performance KPIs.

What You’ll Bring
 
  • Five or more years’ experience in e-commerce fulfillment environment required. 
  • Previous management experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments 
  • Ability to motivate and lead at a senior level in a fast-paced fulfillment environment  
  • Must be a positive, enthusiastic, results-oriented individual able to work collaboratively 
  • Requires an understanding of basic math and standard formulas to determine packaging size and volume for product and shipping containers 
  • Requires strong organizational skills, methodical problem solving skills and demonstrates a high level of attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Experience working with WMS and OMS systems. 
  • Flexibility to support a multi-shift operation. 
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
