The Designer Manager position is responsible for curating seasonal trend direction and leading silhouette development for accessories and apparel.  This role will drive fabric diversification and drive innovation and technology advancements across the assigned categories.

What You’ll Do
  • Weekly sketching of new body development in both Apparel and Accessories
  • Oversees design concepts for assigned team members
  • Create and maintain design calendar including inspiration trips, newness/trend report cadence.
  • Work closely with cross functional creative, product development and sourcing teams for creative direction and feedback on designs
  • Partner with Product Development and become knowledgeable in bag construction and price point restrictions by account specific needs
  • Build seasonal presentation decks
  • Ability to translate trends into sellable designs
  • Cad artwork onto existing silhouettes as needed
  • Participate in team brainstorms and design challenges
  • Work with Leadership to translate brand goals into department action plan

What You’ll Bring

  • 5-7 year’s experience and degree in fashion design, or related field
  • 1-3 years direct leadership experience in fashion or accessories
  • Expert in Adobe illustrator and Photoshop (experienced level)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to details
  • Ability to lead, coach and mentor others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Must be very detail oriented
  • Interest in apparel and accessory design
  • Interest in pop culture and basic understanding of licensing
  • Knowledge of PLM
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $105,000 - 130,000 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
