We’re looking for a talented FP&A Analyst to join our exceptional team, help us continue our rapid growth, and create a better way forward for our customers.  As an Analyst, you will build and own a vast array of financial reporting and data analysis in order to help support various finance and accounting functions. You will also partner with business leaders to develop budgets, report on spend, and drive financial awareness across the company. You’ll get opportunities to participate in high-impact areas such as capital transactions, third party negotiations, writing new policy, and ad hoc analyses, helping to drive strategy and execution as Fundbox continues to grow and scale.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, build, automate & own robust and scalable reporting for both internal and external partners.
  • Manage reporting and accuracy of key financial data metrics used for operational decision-making, financial and capital markets reporting and analysis.
  • Partner with team leads and executives to build multi-year forecasts
  • Own the department budget vs actual spend function, from reporting results to key stakeholders, to recommending spend efficiencies
  • Serve as Finance liaison to departments by working closely with them in understanding their business, supporting their initiatives, and general financial inquiries
  • Ad hoc business reporting and analysis as needed
  • Partner with team leads to define key metrics and build and/or automate reporting to monitor and analyze performance amongst other key metrics.

You should have:

  • 3-5 years of FP&A experience working with business partners and finance leadership developing budgets and reporting financials
  • Strong understanding of financial statements
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Data Analytics
  • Experience gathering and tracking metrics
  • Ability to write SQL queries.
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Advanced skills in Excel as well as PowerPoint, including ability to build dynamic financial models and presentations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Knowledge of R and Python is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

We anticipate the US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $135,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the amount the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors (i.e. job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training). The compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits.
