Overview of the Role :

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will focus on building next-generation platform services to enable Machine learning capabilities across the Freshworks suite of products.

As part of your job, you will extensively use your analytical skills, knowledge of distributed systems and scalable, high-performance systems to build ML pipelines and API services.

Experience:

• 6+ years of industry experience in AI/ML/Natural Language Processing.
• 7+ years of Software Design, Development and Debugging etc. Should be conversant with coding in frameworks like Java, Python, R.
• 5+ years of Experience on Machine learning solutions/models that has significantly helped in managerial decision making. Must have knowledge and experience on probabilistic/regression/Statistics/deep learning frameworks.
• Experience in Conversational Systems, Analytics/Reports Domain, Recommendation System, Data Visualization, Speech Recognition.

Skills:

• Strong experience in Hands-on application development of NLP frameworks like Stanford CoreNLP, Penn Tree, NLTK, Spacy,allennlp, PyTorch, Word2Vec, BERT, Rule Based models.
• Strong experience in applying NLP Techniques like Intent Analysis, Conversational Interface, Question and Answering Modeling ,Text Classification, Sentiment Analysis,Text Summarization,Question Generation, Data Discovery, Search etc..
• Should have Experience in building and productionizing end to end AI systems.
• Ability to Lead/Manage team of NLP Engineers working in Analytics, Question and Answering Domain, Recommendation System, Time Series analysis etc.. 
• Monitor AI trends in terms of algorithms, platform directions, university papers, analyst projections and establish AI roadmap.
• Conduct research and Propose new ideas on evolving areas like Conversational Systems, Text Analytics/NLP,Time Series,Recommendation Systems,Speech Recognition etc which can drive the Product.
• Extend ML/Neural Network concepts, framework and models to apply in the Question and Answering/Conversational Systems.
• Understanding of Analytics Project using processes like Data Discovery, Data Classification, Data Validation, Data Anomaly.
• Strong knowledge of text representation techniques.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSql data stores.
• Should be able to Write and Communicate the Knowledge to Non-Technical users and Offer substantial evidence of Scientific literature or test results.
• Experience working on Multiple Languages (French, Arabic, Spanish,etc.) in NLP is an added advantage.
