Freshworks is looking for a dynamic Lead - HR operations, (also known as an HCM project manager, HRIS Systems manager, or HR Project Manager), to drive transformational initiatives in the landscape of HR technology and lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced global work environment.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in steering cross-functional projects and programs involving change management in the landscape of HR technology. 
  • Ability to partner with Senior leadership in HR and the business whilst driving the functional transformation projects in HR
  • Deep understanding of HR processes throughout the employee life cycle and internal HR data requirements
  • Designing future processes and solutions: defining a clear vision for end-to-end process that enhances HR process optimization and delivery
  • Ability to create deep working relationships across functionals, geographies, and lines of businesses
  • Design, recommend, and implement HR operations programs and processes
  • Ensure departments throughout the organization are working effectively as a team and collaborating as necessary to meet organizations goals and needs
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships and collaborative relationships with employees throughout the organization
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate HR projects and initiatives using project management approach
  • Maintain and communicate internal HR policies; manage the personnel files and completion of employee-related legal documents; stay on top of changing laws both local and national
Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, including experience in HRIS and/or Project Management at a fast-paced technology company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now and Oracle Cloud 
  • Versatility, flexibility, and the ability to work within a constantly changing environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid understanding of employment law, organizational development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems
  • Strong ability to manage HR projects and deliver outcomes on a timely manner and with a sense of urgency
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Experience working in a hybrid work environment, with the ability to work in an office setting (3 days at the San Mateo office).

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $103,000 and $167,000. 

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.

Bonus/equity may be available
