Position Overview:

Do you enjoy working on diverse and complex issues? Are you interested in assessing Multifamily third-party business trends and emerging risks? We're looking for a talented risk management senior to evaluate and assess Multifamily third-party compliance and information security risk.

Our Impact:

  • Multifamily Counterparty Risk and Compliance is responsible for managing Freddie Mac's counterparty risk
  • Ensure that counterparty risks are adequately evaluated, and that adverse portfolio and/or individual counterparty trends are identified in a proactive manner.

Your Impact:

  • Assess on an ongoing basis the compliance and information security programs of our counterparties.
  • Assign internal counterparty ratings and document the corresponding rationale.
  • Develop recommendations for corrective actions to address counterparty non-compliance.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of counterparty requirements and related policies and procedures.
  • Manage and monitor counterparty risk.
  • Find opportunities for operational improvement that streamline or improve existing processes.
  • Perform periodic management reporting related to counterparty risk and assist in developing presentations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of related professional work experience in financial services, consulting, risk management, or a related field
  • BS/BA degree
  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $118,000 - $178,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
