Position Overview:

FreddieMac is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Technology Governance /Program Management Manager to join our team in the Tysons Corner, VA area to provide unparalleled support to a high-profile, high-visibility, Technology and Risk Management program where you can contribute innovative solutions and consult with many different team members to enhance FreddieMac's Technology governance and risk reduction processes. This role provides leadership and collaboration on high-profile, high-visibility, technology, governance, and risk management processes within a Fortune 100 Financial Services Company. These processes require the development of trusted-partner relationships with firm stakeholders and the ability to drive program delivery and a lead a team.

Our Impact:

The Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T) Governance team is responsible for working across EO&T and coordinating across the Enterprise to:

  • Facilitate leadership alignment on EO+T and Enterprise impacting technology risk decisions
  • Drive intake and approval process for technology risk governance to ensure required aspects are captured and approved
  • Drive technology governance compliance processes
  • Provide effective communication and reporting to support EO&T technology governance compliance and value realization at Freddie Mac

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be an integral part of supporting EO&T Technology Governance as follows:

  • Define EO+T technology risk governance processes, reporting, controls, and manage a team supporting related business activities
  • Responsible for the management of a portfolio of technology risk requests across the enterprise
  • Engage directly with enterprise leadership to govern all aspects of technology risk governance processes
  • Establish workplans, and delegate assignments to team members
  • Regularly interact with senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers
  • Ensure team is operating in the most effective way possible and have the appropriate level of skills and capabilities to be successful

Qualifications:

  • 8 - 10 years of related work experience
  • 2+ years management experience
  • Program Management experience
  • Experience managing technology risk and controls processes
  • Experience in technology risk management
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $138,000 - $206,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
