Our Impact:
The Product Owner carries out the Portfolio vision and defines the 'How' on the product roadmap as a leader on their Agile team within a scaled Agile framework to deliver value. They help to identify the market/customer needs and Return on Investment through Customer Experience practices including participating in direct feedback sessions with customers and finding opportunities and difficulties on journey maps.

Your Impact:
- Understanding the needs of customers and their operational processes to identify, design and define solutions that can be successfully implemented to deliver value.
- Understanding the business strategy and apply it to the prioritization of the product backlog.
- Using data & analytics to identify the value of proposed ideas and approach for implementing.
- Representing the Loan Delivery Product team as the principal contact as a subject matter expert and product leader.
- Interact with customers and internal customer-facing staff to obtain feedback on solutions and design to validate and refine value, or pivot to something new.
- Set clear product vision and communicate 'the story' effectively to key customers and the rest of the team
- Own the end-to-end product strategy from inception and resolve business value once solution enters production
- Ensure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with own vision
- Continuously improve backlog with the team, ensuring all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritized
- Ensure customer focused design considering user struggles & usability test results, using market & industry knowledge as well as continual research, to deliver a well-positioned product
- Approve each feature and provide valuable feedback for the team
- Drive sprint and release plans together with the Scrum Master and organizational technology teams
- Exercise strong decision-making directive from executive group to own product end-to-end
- Facilitate the collaboration of cross-organizational teams to establish, develop, implement and rollout new and enhanced capabilities.
- Communicate value and status to various partners and levels of management.
- Participates or leads activities that support system development & deployment (e.g. process redesign, Day 1 setup, risk & controls documentation, user acceptance testing).
- Proficient in documenting risk & controls (e.g. policies, procedures, process flows, risk and control matrices).
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and deliver related value.
- Experience delivering large, sophisticated organizational change projects that involve collaborating with multiple teams, especially projects involving changes to business applications and technology.
- 10 + years of mortgage related experience with demonstrable experience in the primary mortgage market or working in comparable settings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving thought processes.
- Ability to understand strategy and apply day to day decisions.
- Ability to operate in the gray, and flexible to work on multiple, concurrent assignments.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $138,000 - $206,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
