Your Impact:

The ideal candidate is a highly accomplished and motivated professional with excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, project management/change management, risk, leadership and relationship management skills. The ability to partner with and influence key partners in an open, collaborative environment is key.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience working with large, sophisticated financial institutions as a financial regulator, auditor, or regulatory consultant and 4+ years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with large, complex financial institutions as a financial regulator, auditor, or regulatory consultant with strong experience in operational risk management
  • Ability to understand regulatory expectations, including management objectives, risk appetite and tolerances, and impact of changes to risk profiles associated with operational risk management, including governance, risks, and controls.
  • Project management experience
  • Experience leading a team or people
  • Direct experience leading sophisticated examinations and audits
  • Highly motivated and upbeat self-starter with strong organizational and time leadership skills; proven experience operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced changing environment, including the ability to optimally and independently lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Execution-focused with demonstrated initiative and personal accountability
  • Critical thinking skills with a problem-solving approach; demonstrated intellectual ability to analyze ambiguous and sophisticated issues to distill critical components
  • Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships; ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and with multiple business partners and partners; ability to collaborate, influence and gain the support of others
  • Validated ability to partner and work collaboratively with all groups and levels including Officers and Directors, encouraging and developing productive and positive relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to succinctly present sophisticated subject matter; ability to facilitate large group discussions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $188,000 - $282,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
