The Project Management Business Lead role will be a team member within Loan Products supporting Freddie Mac's largest line of business, Single-Family.

Our loan products support existing and new mortgage products that support borrowers needs and benefit the overall mortgage ecosystem.

Create/promote value for sellers and Freddie Mac through the execution and delivery of enhancements and new products or services. Accountable for go-to-market functions to support the rollout of change for applicable product roadmaps. We engage business areas across the company to identify and resolve impacts related to offerings including necessary changes to our applications and tools to ensure successful rollout and adoption internally with business partners and externally with our customers.

Your Impact:

Your Impact Falls into Three Primary Categories:

  • Project Management - Responsible for key project activities (scope, schedule, budget) for large, significant projects or several small/medium projects. Plan the cross-functional rollout plan and launch of new offerings including facilitation and coordination with business stakeholders to execute any "Go-To-Market" functions.
  • Business Analysis - Work on issues where analysis of situations, data or documentation requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational and project objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management - Support client facing teams to evaluate current products and offerings and identify market requirements for new or revised products and offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, OR equivalent experience
  • 8 or more years of product / project management experience
  • Effectively manage projects using standard project management tools, including business case development, project plans, budget management, issues and risks management and status reporting
  • Outstanding product development and organizational change skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to facilitate effective meetings and to develop and deliver presentations/materials to various levels of audiences.
  • Strong quantitative and analytic skills
  • Ability to work independently while driving and managing assignments from concept through deployment/launch.
  • Ability to partner with communications, sales and other teams to ensure proper messaging and rollout of offerings to both internal and external constituencies.
  • 2 or more years managing matrixed teams.
  • Experience in the mortgage industry is strongly preferred with an emphasis on mortgage products and the primary/secondary mortgage market including Underwriting, Loan Delivery, Pricing, Securitization, Regulatory
  • Experience using various project and product development methodologies is strongly preferred: Waterfall, AGILE, Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe); certifications such as PMP, CSM or SAFe PO/PM are beneficial

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $182,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
