Position Overview:
The Payroll Professional will be part of a collaborative and customer-focused Total Rewards team with the specific task of supporting the processing of a bi-weekly pay cycle, timely and accurately. This role will perform a wide range of activities that will provide an in-depth understanding of the payroll function and help ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of our process. This role serves as one of the principal customer payroll contacts.

The payroll team is responsible for ensuring all employees are paid correctly as well as ensuring taxes, benefits and financial reporting is processed timely and accurately.
Your Impact:
Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance with labor laws and Freddie Mac policies by monitoring various processes as well as identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies in the payroll process.
Qualifications:
• 2 - 4 years related experience
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Strong MS Office experience - with a focus on Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Payroll experience with Withholding Orders (garnishments), Payroll tax, Time & Labor regulations
• Workday (plus, but not required)
• Strong communication skills
• Team player
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), or Fundamentals of Payroll (FPC) certification (plus, but not required)
• Must be available to work extended hours when necessary
• Ability to work special projects when necessary.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $70,000 - $104,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
