Position Overview:

Join a team of motivated individuals to provide support to the Securities Operations area regarding Business Continuity and Business Process Improvement planning.

Our Impact:

The Securities Operations team at Freddie Mac is responsible for executing/coordinating all mortgage backed securities issuance and bond administration functions.

We work closely with both internal and external customers including Securitization Policy, ICM (CRT, Cash Desk), Multi Family, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY), the Depository Trust Company (DTCC), and Common Securitization Solutions (CSS).

Your Impact:

  • Work with a team of individuals that support all of Securities Operations regarding Business Continuity functions including:
  • Annual review and periodic updates (based on process/application changes) to Business Impact Analysis Documentation
  • Annual review and periodic updates (based on process/application changes) to Business Continuity Plans
  • Planning and preparation for Business Continuity testing, working with both the baseline business area and Ops Change Management to ensure adequate resources are available.
  • Participate in Quarterly and Annual RCSA exercises.
  • Organization of cross training efforts throughout Security Operations baseline.
  • Development of additional business continuity workarounds.
  • Development of proficiency in applications that support Business Continuity & Risk Management (Fusion, Bwise, etc.)
  • Work with a team of individuals that support Securities Operations Business Process Improvement and Change Management Support functions including:
  • Creation of process flows to support further business and application logic knowledge for training purposes.
  • Participate in Quarterly and Annual RCSA exercises. Use knowledge of application/process changes to support review.
  • Work with the baseline areas to review any processes that may need improvement regarding.
  • Work with the baseline areas and Sec Ops Change management to review upcoming application/process changes either internal to the group or external (CSS). Work as a liaison with the baseline area regarding:
  • Process/procedural impacts (support updates to documentation if necessary)
  • Testing criteria and organization of baseline testing support.
  • Complete analysis and documentation for risk and control impacts.

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 4 years of related work experience (knowledge of Securities Operations processes preferred). Should be able to speak to a range of processes within Securities Operations with limited guidance from the baseline area.
  • Experience/Training with Business Continuity
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word/Visio. Familiarity with ARIS is a plus.

  • Stay up to date with all relevant corporate policies/procedures/requirements.
  • Maintain familiarity with FHFA requirements and guidelines, particularly regarding Business Continuity.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $86,000 - $130,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
