Position Overview:

Multifamily Loan Servicing is seeking a Loan Servicing Associate to manage portfolios of Seller/Servicers for various multifamily products, providing exceptional customer service to internal and external business partners, an operational focus to complete a variety of tasks to meet monthly deadlines, and with strong problem-solving skills and desire to utilize technology tools to solve problems.

This position manages Multifamily mortgage and securitization portfolios. Additional duties include monthly investor reporting, bond credit enhancement disbursements, post funding mortgage disbursements, and management reporting. The role monitors servicer performance and compliance with terms of the business related to investor reporting, all while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and excellent service level standards achieved. The team is responsible for the operations associated with all active Freddie Mac Multifamily loans and securities. This includes servicer reporting and remitting to Freddie Mac. These activities help to facilitate the corporate mission of liquidity and affordability of the multifamily housing market. Your Impact:

You are the face of Freddie Mac as the primary contact for Seller/Servicers on a day-to-day basis for Multifamily Loan Servicing operations.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting from Seller/Servicers and provide exceptional support to both internal and external partners.

Collaborate with internal teams and external business partners for process efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Python, SQL, business analytics or similar analytical applications and technical skills strongly preferred
  • 1-3 plus years of experience with Finance, Mortgage Industry, Real Estate, Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE) or other related fields
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Technology (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to deliver exceptional business results in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong team player
  • Deadline driven to consistently meet monthly goals
  • Organized and able to multitask to meet competing deadlines
  • Occasional travel may be required to provide customer support and training

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Previous experience with Investor Reporting (performing loans and default servicing)
  • Should be highly adaptable and can navigate with confidence in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; should be able to work independently and be a problem solver
  • Broad application of commercial/multifamily mortgage standards and principles

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
