Position Overview:
The Enterprise Operations and Technology (EO&T) EO&T Risk Management team is part of the EO&T Division and provides risk management over EO&T at Freddie Mac!
The Risk Management (RM) Senior will be part of this team and focus on performing in-depth technical reviews, quality assurance, data analytics, identifying process improvement opportunities and providing risk advisory support for EO&T.

Your Impact:
Project Execution:
- Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of ingenuity and creativity.
- Acts as counselor to top management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
- Consult with internal teams on areas of risk related to common infrastructure (e.g. network, UNIX, databases) and information security (e.g. governance, security monitoring, threat and vulnerability).
- Exerts considerable latitude in figuring out technical objectives of assignment and serves as the organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs in accordance with the risk management standards.
- Using data analytics and automation knowledge to improve current processes around issue management and risk management.
- Work independently or as part of a risk management team and ensure work is completed on time and in keeping with professional standards.
- Perform and document work such as procedure development and walk-throughs in keeping with the risk management standards.
- Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to our industry.
Technical Testing:
- Identify and use data sources to drive analytical insights into Freddie Mac's technology infrastructure.
- Support in depth technical data review and testing as required.
Knowledge Management:
- Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing research and review of industry publications.
- Contribute to team knowledge by leading team wide training and knowledge shares
- Run and improve EO&T RM's technology lab to explore new tools / technologies and facilitate the team's training.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of working experience. Experience must include a minimum of 3 years in Information & Technology or Information Security.
- Relevant degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration with an emphasis in Technology, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems or related field
- Implementation experience or compliance review experience of industry standards to include COBIT, NIST, ISO, or ITIL
- Familiar with Information security processes and functions, such as vulnerability management, penetration testing CSOC, incident response and operation resiliency
- Platform, middleware, and application audit experience to include experience with the various levels of the OSI model and technologies including Windows, Unix and Oracle.
- Basic knowledge of cloud-based tools, applications and vendors such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience and understanding of security technologies and tools
- Ability to communicate sophisticated analyses tailored to a variety of audiences with varying levels of technical understanding
- Experience working in agile environments
- Knowledge of NIST, SDLC, COBIT, ITIL, ISO, IT General Controls
- Technical Certifications

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $113,000 - $169,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
