Position Overview:

Freddie Mac is looking for an experienced Information Security Professional to play a pivotal role in working across the Information Security department to improve the overall scope, project and business as usual activities status tracking and support successful roadmap reviews with leadership

Your Impact:

  • The Project Management Professional will establish an effective process to collaborate with different teams across the department to conduct and gather the project, business as usual activities and Issue status on a biweekly basis and maintain a report with the latest updates.

Utilize standard project management tools to effectively track the ongoing efforts, including project status reporting, business as usual activities, risks and issues logs. The candidate will be responsible for gathering the milestone updates on monthly and quarterly milestone updates from the respective teams.

The candidate will partner with PMO team to understand the roadmap guidelines and work with the various teams across the department to review the roadmaps, validate the financial data, Key performance metrics, Issues and controls are up to date to ensure teams are prepared for the next level reviews with management and leadership.

The candidate collaborates with Learning and Development team to review and refine the Information Security training course content, aligning it with organization's strategic goals and industry best practice. The candidate works in close partnership with HR and reporting teams to finalize the user list, ensuring timely and accurate assignment of monthly, quarterly, and annual trainings sessions. They take a proactive approach in responding to audit requests, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years' experience in Project Management
  • Strong facilitation and project management skills
  • Experience participating in discussions with senior leadership to understand the vision and strategic goals being supported by the team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Experience with Jira
  • Strong decision-making skills; problem solving, coupled with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to senior leadership
  • Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a group
  • Industry certifications such as PMP, CSM are a plus

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $85,000 - $127,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
