Position Overview:

FreddieMac is seeking a motivated, career, and customer focused Program Management Director to join our team in the Tysons Corner, VA area to provide unparalleled support to a high-profile, high-visibility, Technology and Risk Management program where you can contribute innovative solutions and consult with many different customers to enhance FreddieMac's Architecture governance and delivery processes. The Program Management Director provides leadership and direction on high-profile, high-visibility, technology, governance, and risk management processes within a Fortune 100 Financial Services Company. These processes require the development of trusted-partner relationships with firm customers and the ability to drive program delivery and a manage a team.

Our Impact:

EO&T Technology Governance team is responsible for working across EO+T and coordinating across the Enterprise to:

  • Facilitate leadership alignment on EO+T and Enterprise impacting technology (architecture) efforts
  • Drive intake process for new technology capability to ensure required aspects are gathered and approved
  • Provide effective communication and leadership briefings to support EO&T technology strategic vision and value realization at Freddie Mac

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be an integral part of supporting EO&T Technology Governance by:

  • Define EO+T technology governance processes, reporting, and lead a team supporting related business activities
  • Responsible for the management of a portfolio of technology requests across the enterprise
  • Engage directly with enterprise leadership to govern all aspects of technology intake
  • Establish operational objectives, workplans, and delegate assignments team members
  • Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers
  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to relationship
  • Ensure team is operating in the most effective way possible and have the appropriate level of skills and capabilities to be successful

Qualifications:

  • 12 - 15 years of related experience
  • 10+ years management experience
  • Program Management experience
  • Experience delivering technology change and architecture efforts
  • Experience in technology risk management
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $198,000 - $296,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
