Position Overview:

At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you'll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation. This role will work closely with business and technology partners to build out an enterprise data privacy function and facilitate governance that maintains the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data throughout its lifecycle.

Enable the interaction between the different partner groups to support the success of the program. Enable a well-managed data privacy environment that enables the organization to meet its strategic priorities and develop strong analytics capabilities.

Your Impact:

Data Privacy Governance

Assist in defining domain's scope and partner with Division Chief Data Officers, Division Risk Officers, and Division Privacy Liaisons to translate business strategies into practical business-oriented data privacy management strategies for the assigned domain. Govern compliance with enterprise control framework. Lead aspects of the data privacy governance workstreams associated with the Data Privacy Strategy and Roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5-7+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or related experience
  • General understanding of privacy obligations and terminology to help ensure that sensitive data is only accessible to approved parties.
  • Familiarity with Federal and State privacy laws and regulations to include privacy impact assessments and data protection assessments.
  • Understanding of data privacy management and data privacy governance concepts as well as project management leadership skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of privacy tools such as OneTrust. Knowledge of Tableau, SQL, and Catalog/Glossary/Metadata tools such as Collibra and Data Flux.

  • Excellent analytical, organization, project, and time management skills, strong judgment and management skills; efficiently collaborate with senior management, other technology personnel, clients and vendors.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $102,000 - $154,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
