Our Impact:

The Data Governance and Management group within the MF Technology and Operational Risk department is responsible for ensuring the integrity and optimal use of Multifamily data. By establishing data standards, monitoring data quality, and ensuring compliance with regulations we enable consistent, high-quality data across the Division. Our work to ensure the maximum value of our data assets supports strategic business initiatives and enhances operational efficiency.

Your Impact:

  • Research data, business rules, and associated loan by for example, writing SOLs to interrogate the data, as well as collaborate with internal departmental and divisional groups, such as Finance, MF sourcing and MF Loan Accounting
  • Support data team in creation of the Data Mapping Document which is included in the Business Requirement Document (BRD) for all MF projects; may write the BRD itself depending on the project
  • Design and develop reports for internal and external users using SSRS, Excel-Macros and Dashboards
  • Assist team with finding patterns and relationships in data and identifying opportunities to monitor data quality
  • Analyze and resolve data issues
  • Review data changes made in MF data base to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
  • Apply understanding of data warehouse / database concepts, as well as experience in relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing
  • Support MF DGM in data strategy implementation roadmap

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related quantitative field followed by five (5) years of progressively responsible data analytics and/or quantitative finance experience
  • Ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously and effectively
  • Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience with data warehouse design and data mining
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and be self-directed
  • Strong organizational skills

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Providing outstanding customer service while handling a large volume of requests
  • Knowledge of Multifamily Real Estate
  • Understanding of securitized lending structures such as CMBS

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $98,000 - $148,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
