Senior, Application Support (Control-M Administrator) - IT OPS Platform Mgmt.

Position Overview:

This Senior position resides within IT OPS Platform Mgt. Organization. The appropriate candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for the tools operational support. The candidate will engage with business owners, application, architecture, engineering teams and peers to safely execute changes, respond to Major Incidents, troubleshoot issues and perform RCA activities. This position is located in our Mclean, VA office and will require flexibility for a mixture of weekday and weekend work hours

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Enterprise Tools Operations team and will be expected to perform in the following areas:

Leadership Skills

  • Seeking an experienced hands-on Control-M individual who can take a lead in administration, job migrations and working with complex workflows and integrations
  • Demonstrated technical leadership abilities in guiding and proposing solutions
  • Ensure the team is operating in the most effective way possible to be successful
  • Provide knowledge and guidance in areas where a gap exists and address proactively

Operations and Technology

  • Align work to appropriate team resources to ensure the tasks are completed in the most efficient and impactful way
  • Vet changes for accuracy and risk based on policy and governance
  • Leverage automated processes where possible and reduce manual intervention of repetitive tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education
  • 5-7+ years of professional experience in information technology
  • In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on on Control-M administration, architecture, enterprise application and data workflow orchestration within cloud and in-premise environments
  • AutoSys working experience is a plus
  • Extensive experience in migration of Control-M jobs between Control-M environments and migrating jobs from AutoSys to Control-M including setting up new jobs
  • Strong understanding and hands-on on all Control-M components, integrations, reporting and APIs, and scripting skills
  • Proficiency in Control-M administration of installing and configuring Control-M servers, agents, applying patches, upgrades, taking necessary backups etc.,
  • Thorough understanding and implementation of job scheduling of defining, scheduling, and managing job workflow to automate business processes
  • Ability to forecast job scheduling and take necessary steps in optimizing
  • Understanding of CICD, DevOps tools and application development lifecycle
  • Able to configure monitoring for job execution, incident triage, troubleshooting and resolving issues or failures proactively and take opportunity to streamline/automate
  • Provide solutions to a broad range of complicated problems spanning multiple technologies.
  • Proficiency in Automating day-to-day administration and configuration management tasks.
  • Experience in championing change and effectively managing project/program implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and build strong partnership with

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of secondary mortgage market, Multifamily business and/or servicing.
  • Acute understanding of corporate governance policies and procedures
  • Experience with Service Now, Jira GAPS
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with continuous change and short deadlines
  • Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity, and relationship management skills
