Position Overview:

Single-Family Acquisitions (SFA) is seeking someone who is forward thinking with an eye for process improvement to support strategic business planning and decision-making via the Business Management function. We are looking for someone who excels at building relationships across the company, storytelling, and who is comfortable creating materials for various audiences.

This role will provide the opportunity to interact with senior leaders across the Single Family Quality Control and Operational Risk Management department, division and enterprise in the planning, coordination, and support of a variety of business management activities to include creation of executive meeting materials, reporting, staffing and employee engagement, vendor contracting, communications, SharePoint services, space planning and requests that arise in support of the Single Family Acquisitions Division and QC and Operational Risk Management Department!

Our Impact:

Our team is responsible for driving business strategy, as well as managing day-to-day operations, and business management activities. We support the head of QC and Operational Management and his leadership by aligning priorities to meet objectives. We support department leadership in the drive and execution of quality control and operational risk strategy and objectives and help ensure an efficiency and effectiveness in the department.

Your Impact:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, such as: creating executive materials and reports, maintaining procedures, department file and capacity plans, space planning, employee engagement, SharePoint services and ad-hoc department and divisional requests.
  • Synthesize relevant information to support decision-making and drive strategy, including creating succinct and visually impactful briefing materials for executive presentation.
  • Develop Single-Family business knowledge to analyze data and recommend solutions or opportunities to create more effective and efficient risk reporting and business management for the department.
  • Build strong partnerships across the company to gain consensus, provide support, and resolutions to requests.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
  • 5-7 years business expertise
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of mortgage business
  • Experience in developing positive relationships, instilling trust, and influencing individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Confidence in advising colleagues and processing feedback from senior management, people managers and diverse audiences
  • Focused and versatile teammate that is comfortable under pressure
  • Highly proficient in use of MS software with ability to create materials for an executive audience
  • Results driven

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $97,000 - $145,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
