Position Overview:

The Business Analysis Senior position is part of the Single-Family Operations, Interim Servicing Management team.

Responsibilities include monitoring servicer performance and compliance with terms of business; Audit Servicer custodial accounts, perform analysis of Single Family loan level data, perform complex reconciliations not limited to advance balance tie outs, and resolve discrepancies with servicers. Monitor servicer reporting, cash flow and credit risk mitigation. You will interact with business partners and external customers working to build solid relationships. Act as liaison to other Freddie Mac departments such as audit, legal, accounting, and marketing etc., as required. You will also support and lead team specific projects.

Our Impact:

Our team is responsible for many functions and our impact is critical to Servicing Operations. We aid internal/external customers on complex issues, escalations, custodial account reviews and management of interim servicers.

In addition, we conduct Servicer conference calls to discuss performance, successes and challenges, and strategy that will assist in overall performance improvements and help to strengthen working relationships. We review and recommend/implement tools that support improving workflow and process inefficiencies and provide continuous analysis and oversight of internal/external workflows and systems to support operational efficiency; analyze and research Servicer performance trends (aging, defects, volume, etc..) and systems impact, and provide dashboards/status reports to management for insight and up-to-date activity and progress.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be an integral part of our organization and be expected to collaborate with internal and external business partners to address/resolve issues and escalations; manage assigned interim servicer loans portfolio(s). Perform data analysis of loan level balances, resolve differences, interpret results, and recommend solutions to process gaps and create efficiencies. Complete monthly reporting and dashboards.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related area.
  • Intermediate understanding of Single-Family mortgage business.
  • Experience and working knowledge of SQL, basic data querying, data analysis, and reconciliations.
  • Ability to draw significant conclusions by analyzing large amount of data, and present findings to a wide audience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer-facing communication experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with emphasis in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create materials for reporting.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
