Your Impact:

The Business Analyst Sr. will be a key member of the Automation and Analytics team within Freddie Mac's Internal Audit division. This role will collaborate with stakeholders to develop, enhance, and implement automation and data analytics solutions to support control testing automation. The Business Analyst Sr. will be responsible for gathering and writing business requirements, facilitating communication between audit teams, management, and technical developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative assurance solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in business analytics, process improvement, internal audit, or operational risk management.
  • Familiarity with internal audit processes or financial services operations is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly, facilitate effective meetings, and develop and deliver presentations to various levels of audiences.
  • Knowledgeable with eliciting requirements from stakeholders, then translating, simplifying, and analyzing the feasibility of the requirements and data needed.
  • Experience in developing positive relationships, instilling trust, and influencing individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical developers and business stakeholders.
  • Detailed understanding and ability to communicate various change and project management methodologies (Scrum Agile).
  • Basic SQL, Python/R skills.
  • PMP, Scrum Master Certification, CISA, CRISC, CPA, or CIA is preferred.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
