Position Overview:

  • Apply broad technical knowledge, judgment and analytical skills to analyze, develop and implement solutions for process improvements, trouble-shooting, production support, production operations and configuration management.


  • Capture, update and simplify production support resolution activities, production operations tools & capabilities, and configuration management sustainability & applicability.


  • Build practices, automated capabilities and communication across department for enhanced application and operational controls compliance including awareness, daily practice integration, evidence collection, successful completion, complexity reduction and resource utilization.

  • Enable configuration management across asset management capabilities for computing/servers, application components, software, network devices and other technical aspects to contribute toward impact assessment capabilities, improved decision making across IT services and sustainable IT lifecycle.


  • Employs extensive professional expertise as a generalist or specialist. Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of ingenuity and creativity.


  • Work is accomplished without appreciable direction. Exerts considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.


  • Serves as the organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs.


  • Acts as counselor to top management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.

Service Management Global Operations (SGMO) Automation team oversees critical development for the entire division. We report directly to the senior executive from whom we take direction and priority. Your Impact:

In this role you will be an integral part of the automation team as its lead and will be expected to:

  • Collaborate with internal and partner teams to deliver major development projects


  • Enhance our automation program by developing training and mentoring developers


  • Build our department by identifying developers and helping them on their career paths


  • Manage key automation projects and broad programs


  • Advise senior management on automation best practices


  • Lead a team of developers in developing automation


  • Identify key areas for growth


  • Implement automation to take advantage of development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.


  • Typically has 8-10 years related experience.
  • 5+ years application support including operations, engineering, development and deployment experience
  • Experience and working knowledge with Artifactory, Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Python, Java, CI/CD pipelines

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $132,000 - $198,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
