We interact with all areas of Freddie Mac's business and provides data expertise related to data governance, data quality and metadata management. Developer Sr in this organization to support our Informatica MDM development for business needs. The Developer Sr will manage design, development, testing, manage risks and issues, impact on systems, and dependencies to other IT systems within the company. Candidate should be comfortable with donning multiple hats when working with teams inside and outside IT. We seek someone who's excellent with written and verbal communications and can be a self-starter in leading and completing various efforts under tight deadlines. We need a "can-doer" who can coordinate across teams, is an independent, fast learner

Our Impact:

We are responsible for the Metadata Management for Accounts, Contacts and Third parties at the enterprise level along with data quality checks of the data in Goldfield and Brownfield space!

Team will use out of the box (OOTB) connectors and lineage parsers to capture metadata and lineage.

We are custom connectors will be developed and implemented to production when OOTB connectors are not available to satisfy the business divisions needs

Metadata will be gathered for the new databases being created in the organization and make it available to business for their data governance needs

Connectivity to different data sources will be enabled to perform the data quality checks

We provide support to business divisions to develop DQ check jobs and to implement these jobs into production

Maintain the infrastructure needs of the data governance and data quality applications

Each of these activities support the Single-Family, Multi-Family, Investments & Capital Markets, Finance, Enterprise Operations & Technology and Enterprise Risk Management business divisions to enable data governance and data quality on the data assets of the organization. We will serve as a centralized development group for the data governance and data quality business needs of divisions, using tools such as Informatica Data Management Cloud including MDM, IDQ, Power Center, IICS etc. along with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Prometheus, Python, AWS Infrastructure as a Code and Unix.

Your Impact:

  • Understand the strategic direction of product and deliver value with effective development techniques
  • Implement end to end Data Quality and Data Governance solution.
  • Identify optimization scenarios and implement appropriate solutions
  • Work with business SMEs and identified project partners to develop requirements (functional/non-functional/operational/data quality) for Data Quality, Data Governance and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and develop and Administer integration capabilities between SAS Dataflux/Informatica Data Quality / Collibra Data Quality and various data sources/systems including on-premise and AWS cloud environments using IICS, Power Center, Webservices and other integration mechanisms and patterns
  • Data modeling & Data Mappings (Landing, staging and Base Objects), Data validation, Match and Merge rules and mastering needs.
  • Well versed with best practices driven design and development including match rule tuning to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables.
  • Strong ability to understand, document and communicate technical architectures, standards, best practices, toolsets and solutions.
  • Create DQ Batch Jobs & set up Security for applications.
  • Develop application interface via APIs
  • Support all phases of the project development lifecycle using SDLC and Agile project methodologies.
  • Provide production support, solve and resolve systems issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of current and hands on experience with SAS Dataflux/ Informatica Data Quality or Collibra Data Quality.
  • Informatica Data Quality development to configure Data Quality rules, ETL development using IDQ
  • Data modeling & Data Mappings (Landing, staging and Base Objects), Data validation, Match and Merge rules
  • Core Java EE Design Patterns
  • Java Webservices Development and maintenance
  • Strong SQL and NOSQL experience (Oracle Database & Mongo DB preferred)
  • UNIX Shell Scripting
  • Extract Transform and Load (ETL) experience using IDQ, Power Center is good to have
  • 3+ years of experience working with AWS Services including but not limited to ELB, EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, SQS, SNS, SSM, Secrets Manager, KMS, RDS, IAM and Autoscaling
  • Experience working with Scrum and JIRA

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $127,000 - $191,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
