Enterprise Data Office within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization enables Freddie Mac's lines of businesses (Single Family, Multi Family, Investment & Capital Markets, Finance, and other divisions) by delivering data platforms, data management and Governance to support business capabilities across the Enterprise using emerging technology, architecture, and Cloud transformation.

Your Impact:

  • Manage assigned projects and activities from initiation to close-out.
  • Manage the project delivery from the cross-functional teams and dependencies within the program and outside the program, including vendor engagement.
  • Define and deliver individual project deliverables, manage the expectations of all stakeholders, organize, and address emerging project requirements, manage project relationships and integrations, and manage more than one project team including vendors in the delivery of commitments.
  • Report project progress, issues, and risks in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate daily standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint retrospectives and continuously guide the team in effective delivery while help improve Team & Technical Agility.
  • Collaborate with Architecture/Technical teams and product owner to assess impact of issues and explore alternative solutions/recovery plans to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Develop, manage, and report on metrics toward achievement of plans/projects.
  • Create/maintain release roadmap and manage release rollout communication.
  • Responsible for timely identification and removal of impediments.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner to schedule and facilitate backlog refinement sessions while ensuring the PO drives the session and the team has clarity of scope, Definition Of Ready (DOR) & Definition Of Done (DOD) met.
  • Facilitate the story estimation in sprint planning and ensure all members are engaged.
  • Facilitate PI planning breakout sessions, dependency discussions, capturing & publishing in Confluence (for maximum transparency), Update program board & capture team's velocity, capacity & confidence vote.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of related professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Project Management and Change Management.
  • Knowledge and experience applying basic project management processes.
  • Proven experience and ability to meet expectations in a process-oriented environment.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to interface directly with the client and cross functional project teams to facilitate project delivery on schedule with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications; to include Project, Excel, and Word.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload; often supporting multiple concurrent effort in various capacities (leading one or more efforts).

  • Relationship building within and outside of the program.
  • Stay current on policies, processes and procedures that impact project delivery.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $114,000 - $170,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
