RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do...

  • Foster robust partnerships with hardware, software engineering, purchasing, and suppliers, including semiconductor suppliers, to drive successful semiconductor integration.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of semiconductor product portfolios, supply chains, and technology roadmaps. Key focus areas include Microcontrollers (MCUs), System-on-Chip (SOC) devices, drivers/interfaces, and power management.
  • Analyze the electrical specifications of semiconductor components and identify critical parameters that impact system-level performance.
  • Advocate for semiconductor industry standardization and drive innovation in alignment with future architecture objectives.
  • Investigate quality issues related to semiconductor components and collaborate with semiconductor suppliers for root cause analysis, containment actions, and improvement plans.
  • Support design review meetings (Quality Issues DV/PV/Production) on thermal, mechanical, and electrical aspects of modules, serving as the point of contact for semiconductor-related issues.


QUALIFICATIONS

You'll have...
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with semiconductor application usage and/or automotive electronic module design.

Even better, you may have...
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience with semiconductor application usage and/or automotive electronic module design.
Experience with semiconductor backend testing/qualification.
Experience working with semiconductor packaging materials such as solders, ceramics, silicone gel, epoxies, polymers, etc.
Familiarity with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and automotive quality standards such as AEC-Q.

This position is a range of salary grades SG5-SG8.
