In this role you will lead the training, enablement, communications, and community management portfolio, which brings our agile framework to life for the engineering organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do...

  • Own, define, document, and lead the readiness management (organizational change) portfolio of training, enablement and communications that support adoption of agile and modern ways of working by the Connected Vehicle Software organization
  • Author and maintain a tiered training plan that makes our agile framework accessible, easy to learn, and practical to apply by engineering teams
  • Develop and implement a community management strategy that fosters vibrant horizontal and vertical communities of practitioners across CVS to drive ideation, adoption, best practice share, and two-way dialog between the CoE and greater CVS organization
  • Partner with peer teams such as Technical Program Management and Tech Strategy to ensure the CoE change plan thoughtfully and accurately represents how the CoE works together with these teams
  • Manage the CoE stakeholder matrix to ensure proper and beneficial levels of engagement by CoE members with the rest of CVS
  • Create a strategy and framework for communicating frequently and impactfully to the diverse, complex CVS organization
  • Provide technical writing and review services to ensure that CoE produced content is clear, concise, consistent, accurate, and easy to consume


QUALIFICATIONS

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience as a readiness manager (ie organizational change manager) or similar roles in complex enterprise environments
  • Up-to-date organizational change professional certifications (eg CCMP, Prosci, or related)

Even better, you may have...

  • Experience as an influential change agent (eg chief of staff or strategy leader)
  • Exceptional communication (oral & written) and collaboration skills in cross-functional, diverse environments
  • Demonstrated history of leading change and transformation in an industrial or combined hardware and software environment
  • Deep knowledge in agile ways of working including agile frameworks, roles and responsibilities, org structures and their unique readiness management requirements
  • Persuasive storytelling abilities enabling you to promote your ideas at the highest levels, gain alignment, generate excitement, and instigate momentum in complex matrixed environments
  • A hyper collaborative mindset and ability to partner with teams and leaders regardless of level
  • Tenacity, grit, and a persistent sense of urgency with a bias for action (even in ambiguous and fluid situations)
