In this position...

Will support the Incoming Quality department by analyzing and diagnosing complex component problems that arise during automotive assembly, End of Line (EOL) testing or Surveillance calls.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do...

  • Responsible to drive the Incoming Quality process including required documentation
  • Ensure all data entered into the relevant databases is accurate and corresponding evidence is available, if data is challenged by a supplier
  • Will continue to isolate, tag and perform sorting, to the Engineering Standard until known acceptable material arrives, or supplier or a 3rd party sorting group is on-site to assume sorting responsibilities.
  • Track all non-conforming part counts as well as associated in-plant hours for repairing, sorting and other associated costs.
  • Utilize Material Quality Concern Report (MQCR) form to document preliminary investigation results, and supplier information
  • Review initial production investigation results, to ensure the issues are supplier related and not plant manufacturing.


QUALIFICATIONS

You'll have...

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality

Even better, you may have...

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of Quality
  • Experience in manufacturing environment, previous production supervision
  • Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing operations.
  • Experienced in 8D problem solving
  • Experienced in using Six-Sigma problem solving methodology and tools.
  • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
  • Successful candidate must demonstrate a mindset of "Deliver it, Own it and Take Action"
