Organization Description

Electrical Platform Management is a new team which is part of the Connected Vehicle Software Organization, focused on management of electrical architecture hardware/software implementation across Vehicle Programs. This represents a change of approach to traditional electrical system management at Ford Motor Company. This team will own the delivery of the minimum software complexity vision, which is instrumental to improving our software delivery quality and efficiency across the Vehicle Program lifecycle. There will also be a focus on hardware complexity across the entire electrical bill of material. This team will succeed using a highly disciplined execution approach of Hardware/Software strategies consistent with the modular catalog and feature/hardware bundles at a cross-vehicle Platform level.

This would include preparation of material for meetings, calendar management, and actions targeted to streamline team effectiveness and efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do...

  • FNV4/EVO Executive Check-In: Manages agenda and meeting notices.
  • FNV2/3 Executive Check-In: Manages agenda and meeting notices.
  • FNV4/EVO Gemba: Manages agenda and meeting notices.
  • FNV2/3 Gemba: Manages agenda and meeting notices.
  • Creates presentation materials for shared input/editing, archives papers and creates PDF records to preserve post meeting content.
  • Manages organizational chart.
  • Manages organizational cadence calendar and develops meeting charters.
  • Creates and maintain team SharePoint and Wiki.
  • Becomes proficient at JIRA health tracking files.
  • Partners with team executives to help them be more efficient/effective with their time.
  • Consistently maintains strong communication.
  • Assists with coordinating and managing meetings and events such as Staff meetings, all-hands meetings, off-sites, team gatherings, etc., overseeing all calendaring, communication, technology, logistics and related follow-up activities.
  • Obtains appropriate support for virtual attendees as well as various media needs and other logistics.
  • Manages and prioritizes calendar activities and keeps executives informed of changes.
  • Screens requests for meetings.
  • Optimizes travel arrangements (transportation, accommodations, agenda) based on the travel needs and preferences. Completes related expense reports.
  • Assists in tracking assignments and following-up on assigned action items.
  • Prepares and updates information for inclusion in Arch/Strategy rooms, reports, correspondence, presentations, budgets. Edits documents and MIRO board for accuracy, format, and arrangement of material.
  • Assists with special projects as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

You'll have...

  • Associate degree or 5+ years' experience in a coordination or executive assistant role supporting senior leader(s) at Ford Motor Company.
  • 5+ years' experience with Ford processes and tools.
  • Demonstration of strong network building capability.
  • Work hybrid schedule between in-office (Dearborn) and remote.
  • Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc and Ford business procedures and terminology.

Even better, you may have...

  • Experience with Ford Global Product Development System (GPDS) deliverables and timing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong people skills.
  • Expertise in development of materials for executive level consumption
  • Time management skills with attention to detail, including anticipating needs.
  • Ability to work collegially within a team environment in an open-concept office area.
