RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll be able to do:

Digital Product Designer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Irvine CA). Represent the human perspective to develop a human-machine interface (HMI) by problem framing, ideation, iterative design, development, and delivery. Work as a collaborative team member with business partners, product owners, product managers, industrial designers, software and hardware engineers and fellow designers. Guide product decisions through a deep understanding of automotive consumers; conduct exploratory research and analysis to connect with the audience. Facilitate and participate in design workshops and collaboration sessions with technical and non-technical partners to expand thinking and build space for innovation. Generate ideas and rapidly build design prototypes to bring ideas to life, and quickly evaluate and iterate. Design, implement, and adapt digital design systems, data visualizations, on-brand visual design, illustrations, prototypes to produce what is vital for successful vehicle implementation, prioritizing design demos over documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

You'll have...

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Product Design, Visual Design, Digital Design, User Experience design or a related field
• 1 year of experience in the position offered or 1 year of experience designing product experiences and digital interfaces, wireframes, flows and concepts
• 1 year of experience using Figma to iterate design concepts and deliver experiences to production development
• 1 year of experience developing prototypes
• 1 year of experience designing Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)
• Position reports to Irvine, CA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.

We are offering a salary of $112,200 to $187,920 per year.
