Forcepoint is seeking an experienced videographer professional to lead our global function, based at headquarters in Austin, Texas. As the Videographer you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Forcepoint's brand and visual communications strategy with both internal and external audiences. This role is responsible for capturing, editing, managing and delivering exceptional video and photography content for all aspects and audiences of our business.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling video and photo content with focus on web, social platforms and long-form online content. Your expertise in various styles videography, motion graphics, photography and editing will help us engage and expand our audience. You will work with our brand and creative team from concept through execution, delivering world-class content for web, social media, internal and external audiences.

The Videographer reports to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing. This role is based in Forcepoint's Austin, TX headquarters.

Essential Functions

  • Production: Conceptualize, plan, and execute video and photo shoots for corporate content, including interviews, b-roll, events and testimonials. Video and photos are used throughout our website, across social media platforms, for presentations, in our offices both locally and globally.
  • Operation: Operate professional video cameras, lenses, and other equipment to capture high-quality footage. Ensure proper lighting, sound, and composition.
  • Editing: Edit and enhance video content using industry-standard software to create polished and impactful on-brand videos.
  • Set up, capture and edit photography including headshots, candid pictures, industry settings, events, etc. Have full knowledge of lighting, editing, use of camera settings and post production.
  • Manage post-production tasks including color correction, audio mixing and adding visual effects or graphics when necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all video content meets the company's quality and brand standards and is error-free before publication.
  • Maintenance: Maintain and organize video equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other stakeholders to align video content with overall marketing and communication strategies.
  • Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in videography and video editing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Film/Video Production, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience in professional content creation within the technology industry with most recent experience within enterprise, B2B and/or security technology segments
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work both independently and collaboratively with proven skills in organization, work planning, attention to detail, follow-through, and follow-up.
  • Proven experience as a videographer/content creator, with a portfolio demonstrating a wide range of projects, with a focus on short-form content for social media.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere and After Effects.
  • A passion for a range of production executions from UGC content to more elevated video production techniques.
  • Balanced proficiency in both videography and editorial techniques and motion graphics.
  • Strong storytelling abilities and the ability to translate marketing messages into visually compelling video content.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to learn and experiment with new techniques and technologies.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms and their specific video requirements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and best practices in social media marketing and video production.
  • Interest and/or experience in Generative AI technology for content creation, including ChatGPT, 11Labs, D-ID, and similar tools.
  • Agile work style with the ability to independently handle most aspects of video production process or function as a specialist collaborator on a larger production team.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft tools.
  • Fundamental motion design and animation skills, extended experience a plus.
  • Experience working with a multitude of camera formats from iPhone to DSLR's to advanced professional production cameras.
  • Analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of content and make data-driven decisions for creative improvement.
