Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Tooling Machinist located in Buffalo Grove IL.
* 2nd shift from 2 pm till 10.30 pm Monday - Friday
What a typical day looks like:
- Comply with ISO 9001 standards.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the EDM department.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on the machines in the department.
- Set up and operate Wire and Sinker Machines. It would be great if you are aware of GF machine and AGIE machine.
- Plan for optimum productivity.
- Work with Engineering to ensure the mold prints are "As Built".
- Maintain the tooling assigned to the department.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs Tool and Equipment
- Identify nonconforming product and notify Supervisor of any potential problems.
- 3-5 years of experience in Wire EDM.
- Experience with CNC Machine
- Ability to operate more than one machine at a time
- Able to read and interpret blueprints.
- General tooling background.
- Common hand tools and inspection gage knowledge.
- Able to operate more than one machine at a time.
